Dr. Matt Townsley will facilitate teachers and teacher teams in
- Evaluating what their assessments currently measure and how that relates to what they are teaching
- Unpacking standards and comparing this to their assessments
- Using student work and teacher collaboration to develop a descriptive scale for a standard
Who should attend?
Teachers and teacher teams who are ready to roll up their sleeves and critically examine their own practices and assessments, their standards, and their students’ work in a collaborative process designed to support the growth of effective standards based practices and rubric design.
What is the format?
Dr. Matt Townsley is located in the United States and will facilitate this workshop virtually using Tencent Meeting. Teaching teams should join from the same space where possible to facilitate easy collaboration. Teachers and teaching teams in Southern China are welcome to join NCPA teachers in participating from the NCPA Campus in Nansha, Guangzhou.
